    Stock Marking Help

Am looking for some help regarding an oval stamp on a M1icon Garand stock. The stock has a very faint SA-GAW cartouche and came on a CMPicon Greek return HRA, obviously not correct for the rifle. The stamp in question is on the bottom right side of the stock right next to the buttplate. The stamp is less than 3/8” and is in poor shape. It appears to have 2 words on it, the upper one is heavily damages but may start with “UE”. The bottom word is in better shape and may be “MAKEN”, possibly Germanicon/Dutch/? for repair or rebuild. On the Culvericon Garand site one poster noted seeing this type of stamp on some rebuilt mausers so I am posting photos here for comment. Am also attaching a link to the Culver thread:
