July 12th is the day for the next scheduled CMP santioned match at Linden Sportsmen Club in Linden Michigan. This will be the last oppertunity for trigger time before the "Nationals" at LSC.

Location: Linden Sportsmen’s Club

Dates & Times: July 12th, 2009
Registration 8AM, start time 9AM.

Rules & Safety: All CMP rules apply, eye and ear protection mandatory, ECI’s required.

Ammunition: 30.06 included in fee’s, must be used at the match.

Cost: Adults $20.00, Juniors $10.00. Additional relays
$10.00 each with any CMP or service rifle plus ammunition.

Rifles: Eligible rifles are the 1903/A3 and Vintage Rifles for relay 1. The M1 Garand, 1941 Johnson and the M1 Carbine will also be eligible for relay 2. Rule 6.2.4 applies. We have a few club rifles (M1’s) available. Please be sure to pre-register if you need to use one. Competitors using other service rifles are welcome to shoot while not being eligible for awards.

Course of Fire: Springfield Match A, 100 yard walk up range with SR-1 targets.

Slow prone: 5 sighters maximum, 10 shots for record in 15 minutes.
Rapid Prone from Standing: 10 shots in 80 seconds, reload required.
Offhand (Standing): 10 shots in ten minutes.
Special needs can be met, please speak with match director.

Awards: CMP Achievement Pins will be awarded for appropriate scores.
