War Baby page 370 also says Underwood used a TR front sight in mixed use approxomately SN 1353XXX through 1359XXX

But under the wartime contractors for Underwood, page 374, it is not listed.

Most of the time if a bayonet lug style barrel band has been added to the carbine, the front sight is not original. Sometimes the late bands were swapped out one at a time. A lot of the time it was more like assembly line production. A large group of had carbines had the front sight removed. The new style barrel band was put on and front sights from a large bucket of front sights were placed back on the carbine. I seriously doubt the "TR" front sight is original to your carbine. I would go with a milled (type 1) front sight marked with an "N". The "TR" front sight is great trading material.
