A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. rwright, The SRS Sales list shows a 1922M1 with an NRA Stock was sold on 12-29-1932. You can get a letter from Springfield Research Service showing to whom it was sold. I believe the cost is $50 and well worth it. I believe SRS will only sell to subscribers. A one year subscription is $25. I don't believe
CMPicon has sales records for the 1922-1942 period and if they do have the records I don't believe they provide the sales information.
