OT: A movie for the 4th: "Taking Chance"

Although I realize this has utterly nothing to do with "guns", I would like to highly recommend the movie "Taking Chance". It is based on the experience of a USMC lieutenant colonel who accompanies the body of a Marine who was killed in Iraq, home for burial in Wyoming. Excellent movie!! It doesn't make a "statement" on the war, for or against, it just shows how a Marine is taken home for the last time and the respect he is shown. Get the kleenexes handy if you watch it, though.

Kevin Bacon plays the USMC lieutenant colonel and for you trivia buffs, Tom Wopat (of "Dukes of Hazzard" fame) plays the dead Marine's dad.

It would be a great movie to watch on the 4th to remind us that good men (and women) died so that we can enjoy the 4th of July and every other day of the year.

    HIGHLY recommended!!!!

(As I don't get on this forum too often, apologies in advance, if this movie has been discussed already --RtL)
