    Question for the gurus.....

I'm on a steep learning curve with the 1903 series rifles, so bear with me. I'm wondering if there was any lateral support between Remington and Smith Corona during production of the 03A3s, especially when they were wrapping up their production in early '44. I know this was commonplace with the prime contractors of the M1icon Carbine, but from what I've seen it just didn't happen that way with the 03A3s. Fire away......

i know that SC received a few Remington stocks, i personally have had SC stocks with the Remington flaming bomb at the tip, and heal.
maybe J.B. can go into more detail on the other bits...
some 2 groove barrel blanks were also used for a very short time.

Are all SC 2-groove barrels former Remington blanks?

I have found no evidence to indicate that SC 2-groove barrels were made from former Remington blanks.

    Hope this helps.
