Nice looking re-arsenal Singer for sale. Any thoughts/comments?

That serial number has been known for quite a while. Probably put back together as a complete Singer, as what are the chances of a 1 of 500 pistol going through a Springfield rebuild and ending back up still matching?
Everyone must be waiting until the last few seconds to bid.

I believe I may know where a Singer is as it belonged to nephew (Marine) who died from a brain tumor from the Gulf War.

He told me that he had a Singer but all the serial numbers were removed by the WWll Vet. I never saw it and few people are on speaking terms with his wife due to the conflicts see created.

Rumor has it that the Kentucky National Guard Armory in Frankfort has a Singer in it's inventory that they didn't turn in. As the rumor goes, they want to put in in the Kentucky State Museum, but the US Army wants it back.

$35K is to much for a reworked Singer IMHO. Nice looking but has to be a restoration could not have all stayed together during rework.
