Announcement WRA 1/2 A'ed clip latch

I really DO need to wear these new glasses more often! I just bought a WRA "A" marked clip latch because I needed one! Or so I thought! The one I bought was a great deal and couldn't pass on it and the color match to my receiver is perfect. Pictured is the clip latch that was in the receiver!

Have any of you seen a clip latch with a half A'ed "A" before? I guess it had to be me. It has all the makings of a Winchester clip latch and now that I'm wearing my new glasses I can clearly see the half "A" on the foot. Does anyone need a clip latch for a Winchester?

Must have been a new trainee on 1/2 pay at Winchester. Ollie was a real taskmaster!

I have seen several Winchester clip latches with partial "A"s. In fact that is what is on my Win-13. If it matches in wear and color, I wouldn't hesitate using it.

Sometimes the A looks like a triangle and other times it is such a partial stamping that it looks like a dent. Nice that you noticed it.
