    Louisville show in Sept?

Is this a good show for trench gun 'sightings'? I have never been and heard that this is a huge event. Hopefully, not a bunch of beef jerky and flashlights....

With at least 3,000 tables, you will find something to tickle your fancy. A few tables of knife sharpeners, beanie babies and beef jerky, but compared to other smaller shows, not many at all. The early spring (winter?) show has the militaria show going along side, and it is 1,500 tables or more. Too much to see in one day, unless you jog the isles. The date I have for this show is weekend of September 26. This is on my "don't miss" show circuit, but I've had to for one reason or another You won't be sorry if you go! Worth driving 12 hours one way for.

    Louisville show in sept?

Show of Shows, the one in early spring is best because of both shows, but find better guns (military and civilian) at the gun show side. Been going for six years now, its the mecca of guns. Just sold a 97 trench at last show, got $3500- just walking around with it (gun side), but plenty of others in military show.
Things to remember if you go,
Get hotel room early, later you wait only expensive ones left.
Wear sneakers, I figure 10 miles in one day.
Bring lots of cash, its all there, just how much will you pay for it.
Go very early, maybe mile long line to get in. NO JOKE!
Become member, pay special 4 day badge to get in 1 day early with dealers.
Bring backpack for eveything you buy.
If you find something, get it then, when you come back it wont be there.
Pay attention, a lot of little treasures.
Leave the wife at home, its a man show, and she wont let you spend the money.
Hope these help, maybe I will see you there. wolf
