    Just Got My Rock-ola

Long Wait But Nice Gun Rock-ola Barrel, Stock Feels Like The Wood Grain Is Raised, Do You Think The CMPicon Presure Washed Tese Guns?? Or Is The Stock Alittle Dry And This Causes The Grain To Raise?? Put Alittle BLOicon On Stock Any Other Suggestions??

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. The best nswers are already discussed on the CMPicon forums. I think ORest gives some great explanations of what they did and how the stock got that way. Of course, a little BLOicon never hurt any military stock.

Of course, your post means nothing WITHOUT PICS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Seriously, hope you enjoy your new War Baby!

I got a Quality CMPicon with a stock like that and what I did was lightly steel wooled the whole thing and put linseed oilicon on then let sit and put another coat of oil on and rubbed it out and the stock looks much better.
