Reminton 1903 a3 questions Unissued weapon
just picked up several estate firearms i have reington 190 a3 barrel date 4 -43 serial 37356xx all parts are marked R the stock is stamped SA ( not sure id thats right fro this rifle) bottomline is the gun appears unfired un issued any idea on apossible value thanks jim

The barrel and receiver are right. Does the stock has a SA in a box on the left side? If so it is a rebuild mark and may indicate that the rifle has gone through a rebuild at one time. Pictures would help.

There is no such thing as an "unfired" U.S. military rifle. ALL were proof-fired before they were accepted. It would take quite a fw rounds fired before appreciable wear was shown. If your rifle has an SA on the left side it was overhauled post-WWII at Springfield Armory.
