A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. Was at North store on 7/31/09 , the place had a lot more ppl there then last month, you had to get buzzed in at the door, guardman buzzs you though. Found a nice "W" code Underwood with a PU stock, mix match of everthing elce. but very happy with it, it's an Austrian return with match # in triger guard and sling cut. Last month picked up Quality Hardware that came from Greek return( greek name on sticker) it hadn't been power washed, and had a lot of gress in recever and very dry RMC stock and i was only one in store, looks like it will be bizzy at north store for a while-Roger
