I've recently read the book Invasion-they're coming by Paul Carell published in 1962(english version).It's the German icon

account of the D-Day landings + the battles to the closing of Falaise gap.It goes into detail of individual units + batterys as well as the destruction of the Panzer Lehr division.I've read many books + articles on D-day from the Canadian icon

,British

+ U.S. view,it was good to read a book with another perspective.
