I wonder what it said in English . . . "These are reproductions"

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. Here is an original Pre Mid 1943 Khaki Sling. At the time of this posting it still has 6 more days to go and is already over $52.00. My guess is it will end up in the $125.00 dollar range or more.

That was funny Bill. The seller is still selling them as 'real' and newer carbine owners are buying them trusting the ad.
Here's the slings next to each other - Heck, they look almost identical don't they!

The top POS fake sling sold for $40 and the authentic early khaki sling only sold for $67.
So many eBay buyers don't know what they're looking at and it's sad. (I wish I could have won the khaki sling for $67!)
