Who's got "teardrop" style forward assists?

    Hey folks,

I've been looking for a teardrop style forward assist with no avail. All the usual suspects either don't carry them or are out of stock. Any suggestions?

    Thanks!

    Thanks cda97!

I've got one on order from Fulton's. I didn't think to check there.

    Colt "Teardrop" Forward assist

If you already have a forward assist in your rifle you can order just the 'teardrop' portion from The Dealer Warehouse in Modesto CA(NO RELATION TO GEORGE LIAKOS who is in the NEXT Town).Phone is (209)545- 2800 ( I THINK ;so check that out before wasting a dime on the phone call)

I did this to my 6920.Remove the forward assist assy, drive out the rollpin that holds the round button part to the shaft and pawl setup.Replace the button bit with the teardrop, replace the rollpin and reinstall the whole assy.

You are now good to go.Worked for me BUT you need a rifle with a forward assist to start with.Cheers,JR
