    Metal Stock

Several years ago i worked at a local gun shop. One day an older man came in and wanted to sell some parts he had collected at his job. Turns out the man worked at a testing and repair facility during WW2 for the M1icon carbine. One of the more interesting items was a metal stock. I have read about the military trying metal due to wood shortage. Is this possible i have one???? E-mail me for pictures

I should think that this one will get a few eyebrows raised.Beware of George Liakos in any of his many personae offering you fifty cents for it though.

Congratulations on a VERY interesting find.Perhaps you should also post photos of the other bits and pieces for all to see as well.JR

A clip holder for the oiler, where's the fun in that.We all at one time or another have fought the sling going around the oiler.

I've never seen one like that.
Hard to tell from your pics........but it almost looks like a long barrel channel. A Hi-Wood...( Hi-Metal ? )
Could you measure the frt barrel channel to see if it's over 4" long.
Very cool find. Would love to see better pictures.
Thanks for sharing your find !!

    Regards
