    New guy on the block

Look at all he can offer !!
I thought offering a service on Epay was against the rules.

He put a location of Mission Viejo, United Statesicon.

Do you know where that is?

I do, I drive through it everytime I go to San Diego for my reunion. It is just south of Los Angeles.

Who else lives in Southern Calif. (Modesto)

Not saying it's the same person, but who knows.

Another name to add to the list of people know for making bogus parts.

I just checked back into this person sales.

On each of these days, May 24th and 25th June 6th, 7th, and 8th he sold an M1A1icon set. All of the listings used the same photo set. They sold in the mid $300 range.

I guess you buy an Italianicon stock for $125-150, restamp it, then sell it for a $200 profit. He must be getting a good laugh out of the folks who buy his stuff.

I sure as hell would shy away from his stuff.

That would be a long commute considering Modesto being west of San Francisco is about a 6 hour drive from Mission Viejo which is SE of Los Angeles.

Mission Viejo is a long way for George to travel. The verbage in the ad just doesn't sound like George.

This is NOT meant in ANY WAY to be support for George, just MHO.

    Mike

    BTW, how are you doing?

    Brian,

As I said , I'm not saying it's the same person. But I would guess they at least know each other.

BTW Modesto is 93 miles west of San Francisco and 360 miles north of Mission Viejo. At 70 mph +, which is slow on Highway 5, it's about 4 hours. I drive fast, but have made it from Antioch to San Diego (500+ miles) in under 7 hours. So for enough money ($1000 profit on 5 bogus M1A1icon stocks), I think someone would make the drive to buy or use stamps. Again, not saying it's the same guy.

I have seen our Modesto seller at shows in San Francisco, Sacramento, San Jose, Pomona (years ago) and even San Diego. He travels a bit. And if you know what you are looking at, he does have some real and some hard to find items. But not at any bargain prices.

Mike, I'm doing better each day. Radiation went well, shoulder surgery not as well but healing. How about your treatments? Still playing ball? Still concidering selling me the Winchester?

    Jim

Glad to hear about your progress! I'm still playing (went 3 for 4 tonight including a triple) and the season is finally starting to slow down a bit. 5 to 10 games per week are too much for my 66 year old overweight body. But it keeps me out of bars though.

    Still interested in the Winchester?

I'm headed over the hill to Reno for the soho in the morning. Want anything?

    Mike
