    Question for Mr. Laidler

My Enfield has a hare trigger that wanders, none of my manuals covers this problem, I need your expert advice on what should be done.

Peter has alreay written extensively on the subject. You should (carefully) scrape a minute amount of wood from under the trigger guard so that it does not rise proud when one of the screws is tightened.

.... and then quickly shoot the bugger.

I was just about to say the same. And while we're on the subject of small cute, attractive furry things, where is the cracking little blond that used to be on the side-line of your thread Mr Ed?
