    Price: US $1895.00

A wonderful matching outfit by the Canadian Long Branch Arsenal, Serial No. OL4011 and dated 1944. In near new condition and appearing test fired only with the original tools 1942 date, sling, oiler and box contents sheet. The carry case is numbered to the rifle. "C Broad Arrow" marked on the pistol grip and lower forend wood. The comb has a stamped "L" indicating the "Long" butt variety. Over 95% blue remais with some very light handling marks on the wood. They just don't come much better. I acquired this near new rifle many years ago. We recently re purchased the piece and are now again offering it for sale to the Britishicon or Military Collector who wants the best example for the collection. FFL or C & R

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. Nice looking rifle, but the price seems a tad steep. If anyone wants a similar mint one here in Canadaicon, I would let mine go for that kind of money....you would save yourself the import fees.
