A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. Yep, you're correct. According to Duff they started Parking in September 1918 and reduced the number of employees required from 305 to 80 and cut the time down by quite a bit as well.

if the rifle has been parked already its should be finish the same way,
a guy would go broke trying to pay me to polish the sand blast finish down so it will look right.
to look right the rifle should be a mix of phosphate and blue finishes.
or it will look restored.
iv seen many done by companys that dont want to blue, and they just dont look right.
