A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. I will accept PayPal, Zelle, MO and good old checks (and cash if you want to stop by for a tour!). CLICK BANNER to send me a PM for International pricing and shipping. Manufacturer of various vintage rifle scopes for the 1903 such as our M73G4 (reproduction of the Weaver 330C) and Malcolm 8X Gen II (Unertl reproduction). Several of our scopes are used in the CMP Vintage Sniper competition on top of 1903 rifles. Brian Dick ... Just popped over the CSPicon to see how things were going and they seem to be up and running just fine.

On another note, they certainly (and by they I mean only a small number of posters) are enjoying taking snipes at milsurps.com over a variety of things, mostly ppl who got banned for this and that shinannigans when they were here.

On a personal note I hope we can rise above that and let the back-and-forth die down over the next few days and move forward together as two separate but strong gun forums.

My thanks to everyone in advance for not taking aim at CSP or the very few posters there who are trying to stir up sentiment against other gun forum sites.

    Thanks Milsurps

I'd like to thank Badger and the other Milsurps moderators for hosting the CSPicon forums during the period of technical difficulties. It was a really decent thing to do and you Canadians are truly our friends. I too found many of the political messages to be wearying--by way of explanation, I think the national election last autumn increased the level of anger and bitterness among some of our people. Hopefully those feelings of gloom, doom and apocalypse will subside when it is seen that the U.S. as a nation and gun ownership in it have not come to an end.

Glad to see that they are up and running!

It was good to have them!

    Thumbs up

Geezzz, even got my original handle back. Now I'll have to go back over and look the "new" site over.
I too will stick around here, even tho this is the slowest site (for me) I'm currently on.
