Got a good deal on a bunch of Rainier plated 200 SWCs recently. Found the reloads had feeding problems in any of my 1911s despite having adjusted feed ramps etc. On 200 lead SWC, I have always seated the lead bullets so the bullet "shoulder" was just a few 1000s inch above case mouth (just visible), with a normal crimp, they were very accurate and reliable.

On the Rainier plated versions, I had to seat the wad cutter shoulders virtually flush with case mouth, with a normal crimp. After doing that, only had one failure to feed out of 50 rds. Found those with 4.8 gr Titegroup or 5.0 gr of Win 231 were pretty accurate and mild recoil. Prices are dropping on components, and if you want to try the Rainier 200 SWC, they work great, just a little more sensitive to bullet depth due to the more narrow nose. (Rainier says to use same load data as lead bullets with plated.)
