weird M1 Carabine

Dear Readers.

I'm a newby here but there is a lot of knowledge here so please let me ask a question.

I'm from Belgium and a couple of months ago I got this M1 from my uncle. He got it for free from another person.

I tried to find what type of M1 this is but my resources are limited so that's why I ask your help.

This M1 is a Quality H.M.C. with number 4749276 with rock ola barrel. He seems to be ok but there is some adjustments for what seems to be a scope.

I searched the internet but didn't found anything similar.

Can you guys help me please?

I’m certainly no M1 Carbine expert, but that looks like typical German style claw mounts, expertly done. It’s not US military. The carbine also appears to be refinished. It would be good if you could locate the rest of the mount.

Any way you could get a better picture of the bomb stamp on your receiver?
It's just to the bottom left of the M1 stamping.
Noticed you need a slide stop pin.
Also looks as though your bolt isn't closing completely in the last pic.

I think the hold open pin has been removed to allow the bolt to cycle past the rear scope base.
