    Type 2 Barrel Band Question

Hi, I bought a type 2 barrel band from a guy and it has a mark on it that I am not sure about. On the swivel side where you would see the vertical slashes on some type 2's, there is a short horizontal dash that is 1/4 inch long. If you have never run into this it is probably hard to visualize what I am saying, but if you have seen it you will know what I mean. So far I haven't been able to figure out how to post pictures on here but if anyone wants to look at it I would be happy to email it to them.
