    M1A/M14 kits at Orion 7

Just got back from Orion 7 , picked up a correct original config Inland carbine.
I know this isn't the right forum to post about my new baby, but it's what I saw there....

Ah, I could go totally broke in that shop.

He just got in a bunch of USGI M1Aicon/M14 "kits".

Everything you need to put together one, minus the bolt, receiver and barrel.

If I wasn't picking up the carbine, one of them would have came home with me.
A USGI m1a/m14 is on my bucket list.

But there's no way I was going to miss out on the carbine I was picking up.

He said they are selling well , for both the builders and guys looking for spare parts.

I opened one up, and the springs and levers and trigger assy looked like new...

Stock had light handling marks on it, normal minor handling/wear, the wood has great grain and look to it.

Another one I opened, the stock had just a bit more handling marks and just as nice looking, and all the metal parts was just as mint as the last one.

He said the only difference from kit to kit is the wood, all the metal parts in all the kits were the same great shape.
The two I pulled from the pile to peak at , showed that.

Seems the kits are from M1Aa/M14 the gov't destroyed, so the receivers - bolts - barrels are no longer, just these "kits"...

Orion 7 is quick with updating their webpages.
Got home and found it on their site...

I don't know if that is a good deal or not. Where do you get the receiver and barrel?
