    Yugo Mauser Sporter Question

I've got an M48 at home that my 15 yr old son loves to shoot.

He wants me to convert it to a deer rifle for him, are there any synthetic sporter stocks available ?

    Everything seems to be K98icon.

    Any help would be appreciated.

You can find converted Mausers at gunshows all day long. I would try that route first. Much cheaper, I'll guess.

Might want to leave it as is. I have one that I use in original configuration and had no problem taking a deer at 105yds. with it.
