    new gun tax law?

received a email stateing a new bill that would tax all gun owners 50$ per gun starting next year. called HR45 blair holt firearms licensing and record of sell act? or SB 2009. simply put all guns would have to be registered, owners finger printed, and a charge of 50$ failure to do so would forfeit your right to own guns and jail time. anyone know if there is any credence to this??

Many bills are submitted, few are approved in this partisan congress.
The Republicans love bills like this so they can wrap themselves around the 2nd Amendment.
The Democrats do not want to commit mass suicide. They remember what happened to them in the 90's.
Many alarmist emails are floating about, few have merit.

Rep. Bobby Rush is just another dumb corrupt Chicago politician.
    1) Handguns are banned in Chicago, yet Blair Holt was still killed by a gang banger.
    2) All legal firearm owners go through a back ground check and are issued a firearms owners ID card (FOID). You can NOT buy a firearm or ammunition with out this card. Yet Blair Holt was still killed.
    3) A 10yr record of sale on ALL private sales of firearms are required by IL law, yet Blair Holt was still killed.
The main items in HR45 all ready exist in IL, yet Blair Holt and others were still killed. As every one knows these bills strip the rights of legal gun owners and have no effect on criminals.
