The buttstock is what I meant. I was picturing a Mk.III in my mind in which the barrel is permanently attached anyways. Do you only sell Mk.II's?

Primarily mk2s, I sell other models when I can find them, often found in C/A or F/A and requiring deactivation.
But when one says "only mk2s", one must remember that even that comes with some variety. There are T stocks, loop stocks, or pistol grips (the cdn mk2/1 variation), then there are the Cdn marked, the Cdn made with Chinese script, and the myriad of Britishicon manufacturers and body variations. Occasionally, there are also C/l\ marked British guns too, and in the same respect, some of the early Cdn mk2s were only /l\ marked. The first batch of LongBranch mk2s were on British contract.
I also occasioanly modify Brit mk2 deats into a very faithful mkV dewat, but they are very time consuming, so I only hammer out the very odd one during a slow month. It is not the metal work so much, as I enjoy the challenge, but rather the wood work of the butt and pistol grip which drive me nuts. With metal, if you slip up, you can just add more metal. With wood, you toss the piece into the woodstove and start all over.

Am I the only one in Canadaicon who hasn't bought a Sten from Stencollector?? Well I did buy some accessories from him. I got my Sten Mk II from a dealer from the Vancouver area at the Calgary gunshow a few years ago, and I paid $480.00.

Although having all of you on the same thread referring to my work makes me look like one, I really don't do this for a living. Just a hobby to try and pay off a portion of the costs of this hobby/obsession.
