A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. Great Pic

Great great pic this just shows the mix of early and late items still in use at the very late stage of the war.....M41 Parsons Jackets....mixed with M43 jackets and M43 field caps.....Tankers Jackets

M1icon carbines with M8 grenade launchers and M1928 TSMG still with Cutts Compensators and M1 garands with and without M7 launchers.

Just goes to show that in theatre nothing was as per the T and OE

    Regards

    Lloyd

Very curb side friendly arms store

I think I enjoy this photo more than any other posted this Fall.

Reminds me of a curb side "C" store. Need a new rifle?

Step right up and try one out......

I'd hate to wander up that mountain road...

Up the road and get a warm welcome or volley ?

    I'm with you, womack....

Being in the wrong suit of clothes would change ones thoughts about continuing the journey up the road....
