That stock has been for sale for a very long time. I think it is over-priced for a rebuild stock. And as Chuck said the butt plate......?

I did notice the terrible misfit of the butt plate and have been seeing this for sale for over a year. I always felt very leary about it. No matter, I found a Model 12 Riot stock today, WB & crossed cannons, very solid but dinged scratched, original butt plate, in a local gun parts store. Just needs some TLC.....amazing what some people have if you just ask! BTW, I had to pay him $150 for it, but didn't blink. Thanks gentlemen, I appreciate your thoughts.

If it is not a BISHOP stock it is certainly a third series Winchester stock, making it too late to be in the Military range. The Ducks may be having honest to goodness health problems but their stuff is extremely overpriced.

pmac, you raised a point that I was never aware of, that being "third series Winchester stock". Can you give us a brief run down of what the different stocks were and if possible post some pictures of each?

Hello chuckindenver, I have a Winchester Model 12 trench gun and need the correct butt stock for it with the "GHB" initialls. If you have one I can by or know of one I would greatly appreciate it. Some where along the line somebody cut my original one for a after market recoil pad and painted it black. the rest of the gun is in good condition.
    Thanks
    Nick
