    barrel markings

Not sure who made them, but one of the VFW's I take care of has several of it's rifles with a marking very similar to that. These barrels have a 3-62 date on them and have the three legged A or I and V intertwined. They are on welded rifles so they made it into the US supply system long ago. I posted the same question on the old Joustericon and did not get an answer.

It should say on the op rod side of the barrel

take a picture of the barrel turned another 90 degrees (1/4 rotation) up from your current picture. On the side with the op rod arm it should say who made it.

This looks like a barrel off the $100 barreled receivers I have seen a the North Store, they seem to have a bunch of stampings on the fat part of the barrel.

I was just about to ask the same question. I just got a $100 barreled receiver the other day, My barrel has an H96 and the letter N. I was after the receiver, I not sure if this will be usable, it has a lot of pitting on the heal and barrel end.

No other markings anywhere else on the barrel. It does deliver 3" groups at 100 yrds, so it's not to bad for a plinker.
I have been asked about the condition of the receiver, here are some pics after light rubbing w/fine steel wool, and oil,
