    I have that issue and that is an interesting article. I always liked the cover photo.

    The cover is actually what caught my attention... the funny thing is they labeled the soldier a "Bataan rifleman" but it's actually a soldier from the 1st Filipino Infantry being formed at that time in the US. I bought the magazine for the cover but found many interesting reads inside the magazine.

    That person has an M1icon in his left hand. Is he grimacing because he just realized you DON'T have to pull the grenade pin with your teeth ???
