I loved the mini-series Band of Brothers …

Here's a snip from the Academy Awards where it won a lot of accolades and many of the real Band of Brothers attended ...

Will be intresting to see the differents,from the European thearter,compared to the Pacific.I am wondering if this will be about the USA in the Pacific or will it show the contribution by other Allied nations,ie Australia,New Zealand,Uk,India,Malaysia,ect......

All in all i am sure it will not disapoint,the Original,Band of Brothers is a Masterpiece

Now comes the waiting game

If the movie is true to the Spirit of Gene Sledge's book , " With the Old Breed; At Peleliu and Okinawa" it will be quite different. A lot uglier. In one of the trailers the director says something like " they went up against an enemy who fought , lived -- and died by rules ..........
( By 1944 US units had developed reactions based on experience.
This will be a very grim movie. )
