That's Nick from Fort Collins, CO.
He does sell some repro parts, but does advertise them as so. As far as I'm aware.
That C marked bayo band is the WWII issued/made one. There is a post war version also marked C. Made by the same company.......but with a few changes.
$50 seems pretty high to me.

In this case he's selling a legit WWII part.
Just seems high for a C band.
Just fast searched GB...no C marked ones I could find right now.

This is the one that still bothers me. I didn't think he'd do this sort of ad but he's sold a lot of them.

Well he does say that he doesn't know if it is real or not or if it is for the riesing or not. I guess that is honest. I've never gotten a "bad" part from him.
When they tell you to behave, they always forget to specify whether to behave well or badly!

I have bought items from Nick. All had been advertized as G.I. and were. I have no complaints on what I have gotten from him.

But I have seen him sell repo parts. Sometimes he said they were. Sometimes not.

Other times like the sling he says he doesn't know.

Him being a long time carbine guy, I would think he really does know. If not, he should know. So why not just list the items for what they are.

But again, if he has said it was G.I. that was what I received.
