    schematic/parts list

Is there a schematic or parts list that shows you what each screw is called and where it goes? The one on Numrich is microscopic and I cannot tell with my old eyes. I am looking for what screw goes in behind the rear sight and down into the stock.

TRICKSTER Provided the following when I asked about parts markings:
Check out this site. It will help you with part/maker identification.

you have a website for Gunparts Corps? Is that Numrich? I already tried Numrich and the schematic is too small for me to make anything out.

Rear Guard Screw? It goes up through the trigger guard and the threads are in the receiver just to the rear for the rear sight.

Or are you referring to the bolt stop screw? This pointed screw is just to the left of the rear sight and its point slightly pierces the left edge of the stock but doesn't actually engage the stock itself.

I am not sure...since I cant seem to find a diagram large enough to be seen without a microscope. It's definetly not the rear guard screw. This screw goes down from the top thru the metal of the rifle behind the rear sight. Since there's a hole there with threads, I assume a screw is supposed to go there. It's amazing to me that with this being a US military weapon, there is no parts/nomenclature layout available. The book I have on the M1917 has no layout.

the real pointy screw, goes through the bolt latch, and ejector.
