    I met Ian Skennerton today

I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Skennertonicon at the WAC gun show in Puyallup, WA today, real nice guy. We talked some about a Mk1T I had bought last month, among other things Enfield. I ended up buying the big Lee-Enfield book and the Armourer's Perspective: No4 T Sniper Rifle book, and had them signed.

There was also a very nice Enfield display table which hincluded a trials sniper, a Mk1T with all the goodies, an L42A1, and an Enforcer.

Of course there were plenty of other cool display tables with Garands, Carbines, etc.

Outside the building they had a bunch of US and Britishicon WW2 vehicles, mostly jeeps and trucks, mounted with M2 and M1919 machineguns. One had a Bren mounted. They also had a British tracked vehicle there which I believe was an Archer tank destroyer.

    Very cool show!

zaugau, glad to see you made it back to Ian before time was up. Also, thanks for the kind words about my Enfield display...... I did manage to win third place for the military displays....that was worth a hundred dollar check, paid for my hotel room at least. Ian stopped by my display a few times during the show, the last time to get me to buy a copy of one of his new SAIS booklets. That guy is a born salesman!
