    ID help

Hi, I am trying to help a friend out. I will say in advance that I have not seen this rifle. It is a bolt action russian rifle, 7.62 caliber, stamped Westinghouse. Any help is appreciated. He also told me that the stock has been cut. Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the info. I called my friend and it appears to be a Model 1916. He was very glad to get the info as it has been in the family, grandfather's gun! Thanks again, I knew I was in the right place!
