    Professional opinion

I've had this USN MkII for some time now, pretty sure it's WWII issue, doesn't appear to ever have been sharpened, but something wore finish off of the top end of the blade. I very certain that it's never been put to a stone. Knives aren't my thing even though I seem to have a few, so I'm considering selling but have no idea what to ask for it? All I might know about it is it's a Robuson Cutlery knife, someone said they were the fewest made and high quality??? I'm sure someone here knows alot more!

Randy A- It looks like you have a WW2 Robeson USN MK2. The way it is marked on the guard makes it the 3rd variation. Hard to tell from the photos, but it looks like scabbard wear on the blade. Oil the blade down, put some Pecards or even a light coat of brown shoe polish on the handle and you're good to go. Hope this helps. SKIP

Randy A- Got lucky last year and bought a mint one at a military show for $135. That was pure luck!!! Generally it should have been at least $200. Yours probably in the $125-$150 range. Could be off. SKIP
