    Correct bolt for HRA 5.4?

Right, so now that the stock is finally finished and the gas cylinder sorted out, I'm thinking about plugging in some HRA parts on my new friend. She has an HRA barrel and receiver, but all SA internals.

Does anyone know the correct number for the bolt on a 5,494,XXX? I'm supposing that the correct part number would have a good chance of headspacing correctly...right?

Just a thought. With so many SA parts I may never get around to it anyway. They are all good condition parts on what I think is a Greek return, so it isn't exactly critical...but that little voice nags...

Either HRA bolt with the .U. heat lot would work for your rifle. You would have a pretty good chance that almost any bolt will headspace correctly but you should gage it anyway, just to be 100 % sure.

I have a stripped HRA bolt with the darker finish if you need it. Trade for it or buy it outright.

...out of curiosity, how do you guys handle trades on this board? Been wondering about that for awhile. No offense meant to anyone, it just seems like the honor system doesn't really cover swapping gun parts with anonymous strangers on the net. How can either party be sure the other will ship? It's not like Ebay, they have some methods of controls ala PayPal's access to your credit cards, etc.

Is it legal to trade in parts of the firing system? C&R (which I have)?

You can trade in everything and anything short of the receiver, that is the only gestapo regulated part.
