    Guns in the living room

After seeing how much fun you guys were having, I thought I might try it. Being Artillery trained, I found that I could get the 25 Pounder and Ammunition Limber in easily, but the deuce and a half sticks out about halfway, and the gun crew drank all my beer.

Hey Buffdog, the drinking all your beer thing is an Artillery habit. My brother was in RCA and RCHA at different times and when he came to visit would do the same thing to me. In Gagetown he came over and we drank a 40oz of rye in the gun room then went out partying. Sound familiar?
    Regards, Jim

I just love them. Having them is enough, even if I don't shoot them. Love those milsurps!

You are all very very sick men you know that don't you? Of course you do. Personally I only fondle mine at the range. And when I'm packing up to go to the range. And when I get home and clean them. And of course that dreamy smile I have when I put tem away remembering all the fun we had that day. 000000PS gotta go my buds are here to go to the range. Oh By the way I need for one of you geniuses to invent 2 things. A brass magnet would be nice and if that can't work how about something that would automaticly reload all my ammo for a penny a piece.

I have never held it in my lap while watching a war movie but sometimes (like when I am watching a WW2 movie) think "did I really clean that Arisakaicon 99 after the last time I had it out to the range?". Or when I am reading one of the threads on this or other forums say about the Johnson semi-auto question if my codes are similar to one mentioned in the comment. In either case I find myself handling the weapon and checking the sight picture or adding a little linseed oilicon to the wood if it seems a little dry.
Anyway I can relate to what you are saying.
