So, how many of us here......

Just randomly pull out a milsurp or two and just lay around with it resting on you while watching a war movie? or look at the milsurps in a movie as the stars and forget about the actors? or walk around the house with your rifle like it is an extension of your body?

Or is it just that I am the strange one here?

I commonly walk around with a .45 or some other of the handgun family here. When I used to have my U.S. collection, (everything from the Kragicon rifle onward) used to open my gun lockup and sit with a jug and watch like it was television. I do find carrying a rifle in the house awkward. A Thompson on the other hand...

I've found that house clearing exercises tend to be hard on the walls and leave white paint marks on the weapon.

Badger! See what you've caused with this site?

You might need to start a twelve-step program forum for milsurpoholics!

Actually I'm NOT a milsurpoholic myself. I can stop anytime I want to after taking out just one to wipe it down and marveling at it. Well, sometimes it leads to two. If I've had a bad day I might take out three or more just to look at them. Heck, who am I kidding? I take all of them out everyday.

    Hi, I'm Harlan and I'm a milsurpoholic......

    Thank God!

I finally found my people. Perhaps we are from a lost tribe and were taken at birth to be raised by the "NORMALS".

But, thanks to our gene pools we are finding our roots.

Everytime my wife catches me I tell her "I'm hand rubbing the oil finish just like they did in the old days" or "I thought I seen a scratch on it so I was just checking it out"......I think she is catching on though.

Be well my Brothers. (and Sisters, I know you are out there)
    Al

Isn't this the other reason for buying them?

(I wanted to add this one because I like it. )
