    G43 furniture question

    I may be getting a second G/K43...
This one would sadly be sporting a bubba'd stock. The metal is aparently untouched by said bubba, but it would be missing its hinged butt plated and its barrel band. However these parts are not hard to find. What is however difficult to find is a g43 stock and handguard. I have done a little searching and found very little, all of which has been pretty pricey. Im trying to find an avarage price for a stock set, or mere stock alone. repro bakelite handguards isnt a bad option.

As im still awaiting more information and pictures of this g43, I thought id do my homework and see what a stock will cost me. As it will play a big role in how much im willing to pay for this g43 restoration rifle. Any help is much apreciated. What have you seen as far as availability and price. Thanks!

There's a japanese airsoft company that made a perfect repro laminate set. They went out of business a couple years ago, but lots of their stocks are still about and very sought after. Maybe try the guys at the G/K43 forum?

The company is called Shoei, my G43 wore a Shoei stock set and it was absolutly beautiful. The action also dropped in without a single rub of sand paper. As far as the repro stock sets go Shoei is the prettiest by far.

PS: If you pass on the G43, please PM me the seller's info

    Hi Sigismund,

There is an German website called Egun were you can find the parts you are looking for. They mostly come from private sellers.
The address is : eGun - Der Marktplatz für Jäger, Schützen und Angler

Most of the time the sellers don't want to send / talk to anybody outside of Germanyicon. You can always contact me by PM if you have any questions.

Thanks for the link, Ill take a look. Luckily I speak German, its not fluent, but I get by. Ive had the same experinces before hand when dealing with Germans, so I simply ask for them to ship to family or friends of mine in Denmarkicon. I dotn know why many dislike the thought of shipping out of the EU.
