    ammo ID T W 5 6

    have a can of ammo in 5 round stripper clips/bandoleers.

    anyone help me out with ID'ing it? T W 5 6 stands for ??

    Probably repacked by an individual unless in bandoliers with accompanying stenciling indicating TW production in 5 rd. clips. Doubt they were making up new ammo for '03's in 1956. Should be good, safe, noncorrosive ammo.

    is this the plant taken over by Federal Ammunition to manufacture their ammo after the gov't stopped production?

    The plant is apparently closed and you can now tour around it. It appears to have been closed for some time.

    The Denver plant is closed too. They marked their brass "DEN". It is now Federal Government Office buildings.
