Pictures of my British cup launcher carrier pouch

I had this out and thought there might be some interest in what the carrier looks like. This is the only one I have encountered in over thirty years of collecting.

I am still looking for the little web box that holds five 1 inch flare gun cartridges and fits above the web flare gun holster.

    Thumbs up

    That's great Paul ...

Thanks .. I've never seen a good pic of the "carrier" before ...

Tangental to the subject of the thread, if anyone wants to have some fun with the cup dischargers, here's a great "fun" video in The Screening Room (click here).

Make sure you turn ON your speakers and turn the volume up to hear the sound effects !

There's also another Knowledge Libraryicon entry on WW1 Enfield Wire Wrapped Grenade Rifles and Dischargers (click here), showing close up pics as well as instructions on how to use them.

Hope this adds some value to the thread ...

How rare are these grenade cup pouches Paul or anyone? I ask because we had a couple and came to the conclusion that they could have been/were 2" mortar barrel brush thinggies. Now I know...........

I'd like to see a picture of a web Very Pistol holster. In my time they were always issued in a leather holster.

BTW, I have several pictures of me wearing a Very Pistol in a web holster but it is actually a WWII .445 holster that I pressed into service.
