    Correct Sistema Colt M1927 Holster?

Does anyone know what the correct Sistema Colt Holster looks like or knows where to get them? I have a pretty sweet looking Air Force Sistema and would like it to be more comfortable in a correct period holster rather than the US one it resides in.

The barrel is also pretty worn and I would also like to get a new one. Does anyone know where to get a replacement barrel that I could just drop in? I have seen ads in Shotgun news, I think SOG, and was wondering if anyone had experience with these?

Standard 1911A1 barrels will fit your Sistema.
I see the holsters on e-bay. They are sort of a "drop-down" affair. Lots of those came in, but nobody really seems to want them. You should be able to find a reasonable one.

    Hi Spudman

I live in Argentinaicon and I must tell you, You dont want to put your Sistema into one of those holsters. If the holster/leather is too old it will retain humidity and consecuently attack the finish of the pistol. If the holster is too new the leather will then act like a sand paper erasing parts of the pistol finishing, specially in the muzzle area. The more suitable surplus hoster would be a green canvas one, they also appear oftenly on ebay

    Regards

    S.

    Argentine Sistema Holster (pictures)

I just photographed these for you.

Maybe Superdoop can tell me (us) what the loops and studs on the rear of the holster are for?
