Don’t know what is worse, a horse, a boat or maybe a motorcycle. I have heard a boat and a horse have a lot in common when it comes to cost. A motorcycle and a horse will hurt and possibly kill you. Nah I am wrong, we do all these things to ourselves and most of the times enjoy it. Glad to see you back.

I don't have either one, but a horse has got to be worse than a motorcycle; while it's true that both can kill you, at least the motorcycle doesn't think about trying it.

I think bikes scare me the most. Boy I have lost some friends, and almost lost alot more.
I have one fast Mustang though, for when I'm not chasing down carbines and shootin matches.

I had a white 1970 Mach-I with 351 Cleveland that I bought from the original owner. It was owned by an older woman and had low miles on it. She kept it garaged and the original paint and body were perfect.
My father and I only bolted on a Holly carb, Edelbrock manifold and hooker headers, but it was fast enough to scare me at times.

I loaned it to a friend and he totaled it.

He didn't get a scratch though, just killed my Mustang.

I had a 1966 Mustang that was painted British Racing Green back in 1979. It was a bottom end one that had the 6 cylinder, manual brakes and manual steering. Looked cool, but drove like a tank. SOld it for a 4x4 truck.

I was concerned about your outcome. Being an owner of horses, I know the damage they can do when scared.

I hope the horse is calm now and I am sure the two of you will continue with a good relationship.

For those not familiar with horses, most are Ok around gun shots, but some will react in a very active manner and panic. Many different types of injuries can occur if you are around when it happens.

We have a small herd of horses ourselves. One of ours is a old cowboy action horse and he will walk right up to you while shooting, most are indifferent and just walk away. As Bill said, some go totally crazy are run, buck, and generally just lose their mind. My shooting range is a gap between two pastures, so they have to deal with it one way or the other.

Those are on my someday list, I will guess that I am slightly younger than the average carbine forum member.This is what my generation had as it's fast cheap muscle car. Here is my 1987. It has 9.8 compression 302, and alot of Factory Ford racing parts, stainless headers, Gt-40 heads,intakes upper and lower (still injected), super duty 5 speed, aluminum driveshaft, bell housing, big cam. List goes on and on.It was ordered A/C delete and is badged as a police interceptor like the Crown Vics, I don't know if that is factory or not. It formerly had a Kenne Belle super charger and injection, yes it fit under that hood. After tearing the rear end loose,breaking the driveshaft and a couple transmissions that was enough of that. Next toy will be 67 Camaro or Chevelle.
