Not all shooters are hunters. And I know some hunters who belong to the ASPCA. I think They are geared more towards dogs, cats house pets. But I am not positive I am not a member or hunter.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. I will accept PayPal, Zelle, MO and good old checks (and cash if you want to stop by for a tour!). CLICK BANNER to send me a PM for International pricing and shipping. Manufacturer of various vintage rifle scopes for the 1903 such as our M73G4 (reproduction of the Weaver 330C) and Malcolm 8X Gen II (Unertl reproduction). Well if the Humane society or the ASPCA would stick to puppys and kittys it would be a different world.

They are DIRECTLY behind most of the anti hunting laws and restrictions in place today, above and beyond conservation.

Kinda like the stupid kum by ja bimbo on the news up thar in NJ when they were talking about okaying black bear hunts. When she was asked about the exploding population and not having enough for the bear population to eat - said stupid bimbo - "well we can just feed them!"

Whatever happened to actually learning something when your parents buy you that college degree

Believe me, if they actually used all that donated money to help critters instead of getting into wildlife management game, I would give em money too, but currently they could all drop dead from limp brain disease and I would be happy.

Anti Gun Ebay and the ASPCA donation plead? Kinda go hoof in hoof.

    Dan

I'm starting to see where grocery stores are asking for ASPCA donations at the check out counter.

Now that the thread is solidly off topic, I'd like to say that my wife is a director for a local shelter (and a AZ CCW holder).
Her bieng in that positon has led to many opportunities to have RKBA and conservation discussions with those that most on "this side" feel are enemies. You would be amazed how many of their opinions are knee jerk responses, and how quickly they can be educated with reason.
The us vs them mentality is going to be the demise of this great nation, and the sooner folks realize that they have a responsibility to educate US citizens that may have misguided beliefs the sooner we get educated voters. "My cold dead hands" is a great line for raising money from conservatives for the NRA's ILA, but it doesn't go very far outside people that already share our opinions.

When we react with knee jerk bull**** based on hearsay we aren't doing ourselves any good.

Dan, it saddens me to to hear any American say they could care less if other Americans dropped dead for their beliefs. Kinda goes against what too many have fought and died for, but that's just my opinion.

    Exclamation Alrighty then

Yeah, it did get way off topic didn't it. Well before it turns too far south lets get back on topic then. Or, we could all just say this thread has run it's course and move on.
