A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. all I can say is

    Wow!.

My ammo stash has increased by 3x value, if these prices are a good metric.
    Ouch!

just today I prepped 300 LC once fired, LC09 brass, and the brass is really nice, and the sorting now will begin for the further competition loading and the plinking stuff. I think that Hodgon is ramping up the powder supply and more types of powder old and new(8208 XBR) just coming on as available. Many shooters will remember that powder in the benchrest game. this is the time to encourage and help anyone that needs to reload with ammo costs very high and getting higher.

I have been reloading 30.06 & .303 Britishicon but I am going to try to start a local camp Perry style 30.06 match but more up beat, kind of a tactical fast paced match and to keep the fairness between the hand loaders and the ammo buyers there is going to be a "no reloads" rule. Also, I need some battle ammo for SHTF purposes, my Linotype is hard but not capable of doing "battle damage" at necessary distances.

CMPicon is supposed to be putting out another couple hundred thousands of rounds of HXP for dealers to haul off by the semi full early next year.
