    1901 MLE NZ markings ?

Firstly, a Happy New Year to all of you !
I have recently purchased a MLE which I'm trying (fairly unsuccessfully) to trace it's pedigree. It has the NZicon and 1901 stamps. These are self explanitary, however it also has a couple of stamps which have me baffled. It has the serial # QB651, the BSA stamp and a crown, with the numbers 37 and 13 under the crown. It also has a stamp with an S with another S below it, and lines radiating out from between the 2 'esses'. Can anyone point me in the right direction ? I imagine the 'HV' stamp means high velocity ?
    Cheers guys

HV means the rear sight and mount was calibrated correctly for the new flight characteristics of the higher velocity ammo
The s/s and lines stands for sold out of service, as opposed to stolen I suppose.
    The others I don't know...

First picture, and I'm afraid it's not that good. I'll try again tomorrow, might be able to 'highlight' the stamps with white chalk.

Hello and welcome. Your correct. NZ is referring to the New Zealand property stamp. It’s most frequently found with a Broad Arrow between the two letters.

Here's a site provided by Amatikuluicon with some good information to bookmark for the future. Go through the pages and discover lots of markings and acronyms...
