As someone pointed out when i posted this on another forum, it is a simple conversion.
Take one Martini, remove piling swivel, throw away whats left, attach one MLE to piling swivel, done.

Might have been sling swivel, do Martinis have piling swivels??

    Strangely Brown,

I would, but the book is co-written by 2 well known authors on firearms & maybe the only glitch in it, would be a shame to discredit it.

Is that looks like it's from the first edition of I.V.H. and J.W.'s book. It's the same in the 5th. edition. I've owned both editions for many years and never noticed the error.
